Meet Emily
I’m Emily Rose - a counsellor, writer, and mindfulness teacher living on Dhudhuroa Country in north-east Victoria.
My work is rooted in a simple question: how do we stay connected to ourselves, each other, and the world around us in times of uncertainty and change?
I bring together trauma-informed counselling, yoga and embodied mindfulness, with creative practices to support people in finding presence, compassion, and resilience in their daily lives. Alongside my clinical training, my path has been shaped by more than 15 years of yoga, meditation, and spiritual study - as well as the very real lessons of parenting, community work, and activism.
I believe mindfulness isn’t about escaping the world, but meeting it more fully - in our bodies, our relationships, and the wider systems we’re part of. Whether I’m teaching a class, writing an article, or sitting with someone in therapy, my intention is the same: to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and reminded that you belong.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me in the mountains, listening to music, or exploring the messy intersections of spirituality, and social justice in my writing.
