Counsellor | Writer |
Community Wellbeing Practitioner
Helping individuals and communities cultivate connection, belonging, resilience and meaning.
Welcome, I’m Emily
I’m a counsellor, writer and community wellbeing practitioner exploring how we can stay connected in a world that often feels messy and overwhelming. My work weaves together trauma-informed counselling, embodied mindfulness, and creative practice to support presence, compassion, and resilience.
Here you’ll find offerings for wellbeing programs, one-to-one support, retreats, and reflections through my writing. Whether you’re seeking balance, connection, or simply a reminder that you belong, exactly as you are - you’re in the right place.
We can’t avoid the challenges of life, but we can meet them together…with kindness, curiosity, and a little laughter along the way!

3 Pillars of Presence
For over a decade, my practice and program design have been grounded in three interconnected relationships:
Connection to Self:
Cultivating embodied presence, self-inquiry, and personal steadiness.
Connection to Others:
Building relational trust, community resilience, and deep belonging.
Connection to Nature & Spirit:
Rooting ourselves in place, honouring landscape and lineage, and engaging with meaning beyond the everyday.
The Art of Human Resonance
Reflections on mindfulness, community, creativity, belonging and the messy art of being human.
Part essay, part field notes, part contemplative practice. This is a space where meditation cushions meet mountain trails, community care meets personal growth, and the wisdom of everyday life sits alongside psychology, punk rock music, spirituality and social change.
I respectfully acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which I live and work, the Taungurung and Dhudhuroa people. I pay my respects to their elders past, present, and emerging.
I honour their ancient wisdom and custodianship of this beautiful land.
I recognise that sovereignty of this land was never ceded.
